Howdy all.
I'm sure you've been wondering why I haven't been updating for the past little while. Or if you haven't please tell me you have so that I can feel just a little better about myself. Please? I need this.
Anyway, I started journalism school up here in Maryland at the end of May and I'm only now getting used to it. It's a grind, I'll tell you. They expect me to do actual work at actual newspapers! The nerve of these people! This is not what I was told journalism was. I was told journalism involved a lot of scotch, beaten-up hats, drugged-out Hunter S. Thompson-style adventures and getting to say, "The people will think what I tell them to think!" I also expected to use the word "scoop" a lot more.
Anyway, it's going pretty well. I'm finally getting settled in and un-stressed out, so hopefully I'll have more regular updates from now on. --------
