Message board stuff and article submissions
I'm posting this just to remind everyone that's looking over the site here that there's a pretty cool message board with some really great stuff on if for you to check out.
Poster VDeep has really contributed some good stuff over there, like this opinions piece and a really funny writing about Schmidlapp, the dumbest cop on the force. You oughta check them out.
Oh, and just to maybe get my own hopes up, I've submitted a couple pieces to some internet publications in the hopes that maybe they'll publish them. The National Lampoon was the recipient of a piece entitled "Consumer Item Ideas That I Genuinely Believe Will Make Me a Million Dollars," and I sent a version of my "How To Get Published in the New Yorker" piece, which is now entitled, "A Chapter from the Freelance Writer's Guide to Aspiration," over to McSweeney's. If you see writings with similar titles posted on here in the near future, you'll know I didn't get in.
