Subject: Webcomic
Hey MW,
I like the A&D comics a bunch. Two questions:
1. Will there be more to come in the future?
2. Are the characters hand-drawn or created entirely on the computer? If the former, who draws?
Thanks, MW.
By the way, your nametag is upside-down.

Hey! An easy one! But just for maximum understanding, I'll answer in your exact format. How's about that?
Hey Vic,
I do too. Thanks for reading them. Two answers:
1. Um...possibly. We're working on maybe getting some more done. I've got a whole hell of a lot of comic scipts sitting around, but they were written somewhere in the area of two years ago.
The story behind Abbott and Depresso is really quite interesting, if by "interesting" you mean "entirely self-indulgent," which, personally, I always do. We originally planned to make Abbott and Depresso into a regular webcomic with all the bells and whistles, but after about 200 snags and hang-ups with finding a worthwhile file system and getting a website set up, we just never got it off the ground. We had somewhere in the area of a thousand ideas for it -- I even wrote intros to all the sections of the site and have them somewhere in the recesses of my computer. One of my favorite ideas we had was that, for one entire week, we would entirely switch the site over to a Penny Arcade parody called "Nickel Arcade," starring protagonists "Tabe" and "Geico." Yeah, we have kind of an unhealthy PA obsession.
2. They're hand-drawn on a computer. The fellow who draws them is my good friend SB (the "Bauguess" in "Wilson and Bauguess"). He uses a Wacom tablet to basically draw the comic -- which he sketches out on paper first -- right into Photoshop. It's super-neat.
Thank you, Vic.
Dammit! That always happens!

There we go.
